Hello friends! Winston here.
It’s almost Howl-o… I mean, Halloween! Either way, I’m excited about my new costume—I’m going to be a meteorologist this year. It looks like it’s going to be a candy-filled forecast! Here are some of my other favorite pet costumes for this year:
2010 Halloween Pet Parade
These dogs are clocked in and ready to work! Hire your own watch dog with just a few things you probably already have laying around. The clock face is simple to make using just a permanent marker and a cardboard cake round, which are just a few bucks for a pack of 10 at any craft store. Attach with a belly band or an old T-shirt and get ready to take home the prize at the costume contest.
Fluffy, the Three-Headed Dog from Harry Potter Halloween
If you haven’t seen the first Harry Potter movie, this one might go over your floppy ears. Basically, Fluffy is a vicious three-headed dog who guards a very special door to a very special place in Hogwarts castle. Now you’re all caught up! If you happen to come across two stuffed animals that resemble your precious pooch, this costume’s construction is pretty self-explanatory with the use of a harness.
41 Pictures You Need To See Before The Universe Ends
Dibs! I might need to ditch my weatherman’s suit and green screen for this one. If you have a particularly round furry friend at home, this costume works quite well. Cups are round, some dogs are round—it’s a perfect match! Prepare your tubby friend’s java jacket with a bit of cardboard or even some tan felt, go at it with a green marker and then attach one of those iconic white lids to your pup’s noggin with some green string. It makes me excited just thinking about it! But that may just be the caffeine…
Dogtini 25 Crazy Pet Costumes That Put Yours to Shame
It’s time to bring some respect back to the cone of shame! If you happen to have one of these evil contraptions laying around, you can transform it with some floral foam balls, some red felt and a long dowel rod. Make sure to put something soft on the end of the dowel rod so it doesn’t poke your pal in the face!
10 Dogs That Look or Were MADE to Look Like Different Animals
Eeek! Oh… wait… that’s just a puppy! What a scary lion! As a dog, I don’t exactly have the thumbs or the blueprints to make this happen, but I think probably involves a trip to the fabric store. And maybe a lion tamer in case things get out of control. Keep an eye on your liondog so he doesn’t scare you in the dead of the night!
