Hi, friends! Winston here.
I’ve been very busy getting ready for Christmas and the approaching new year. I’ve organized my toys, donated the ones I haven’t used in a while, and decided to cut back a little on kibble, so I think I’m ready to turn over a new leaf.
But I was thinking that I should help you, my loyal fans, pick a fun New Year’s resolution in order to have the best year ever! Here’s what I think we should all try to accomplish in 2017.
Get more play time
Whether it be outdoors with your furry family member or inside with the kids for some unplugged fun, we should all try to fit in more time with those we love this year. With so many distractions in today’s world (I mean, your smartphones look cool, but since I don’t have thumbs I don’t know how to use them), it’s hard to focus our mental energy on something other than all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I may be a dog, but I know that the meaning of life is to give love as often as you can. So take your paw off that phone and go play with your favorite people.
Step outside your comfort zone
As a dog, I know a few things about comfort zones. I’m always curious, but I also know that nervous feeling you can get when you venture into new territory. But more often than not, those new territories are full of fun adventures. So start your New Year’s resolution early and try a new candle scent, make a recipe from a new cookbook or invite friends over for a dinner party. So venture out there and get your paws dirty!
Spoil your pet
SampleHouse carries the latest and greatest Harry Barker toys, dog bowls, cute leashes and fun pet accessories. This year, don’t be afraid to spoil your favorite four-legged friend with some fun gifts straight from SampleHouse. I’m partial to the Harry Barker toys because their sounds and textures drive me crazy. (What do they put in those?) Either way, I think spoiling your pet in 2017 sounds great and we should all make it a priority.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 2017!
