This delicious Tomato Basil Soup from the SampleHouse Cookbook is the ideal soup for grilled cheese or to warm your belly on a cold day.
- 12 bouillon cubes
- 6 c. water
- 1 (6-lb. 6-oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 4 tsp. basil
- Lemon pepper
- 3 c. whipping cream
- 2 sticks real butter
Mix together bouillon cubes, lemon pepper, water, whipping cream, tomatoes, butter and basil. Bring to boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Can be served hot or cold.
