With colder weather heading our way, it’s about time we posted a warm up favorite! Drum up some of our Tomato Basil Soup and you’ll be rosy cheeked all winter long.
- 4 (14 1/2-oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
- 3 c. water
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 tsp. basil
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 3/4 stick butter
- Lemon pepper to taste
Simmer first 4 ingredients for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add whipping cream and butter. Serve either hot or cold. Servings: 12.
