One of our very favorite things about SampleHouse is our incredible group of vendors. We feature artists, chefs, paper crafting experts, digital design gurus and a long list of other creatives who make our stores shine. We are so proud of all the incredibly creative products that we feature in our stores—like Jennifer and Joseph Worth, owners of South Austin Gallery.
Their Pop Art-inspired photos, which feature iconic Texas images, have made their way into our stores in the form of cool and colorful coasters and cutting boards.
After a trip through 19 different countries in 2005, this husband-and-wife team found success selling their photos of the world on Austin’s famous Drag. When the snap-happy couple opened their own shop in 2010, it came as no surprise that South Austin Gallery’s best sellers were the iconic Austin landmarks and local favorites frequented by Austinites and tourists alike.
A few years and countless art shows later, the Worths are a staple in the Texas art scene, with appearances in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Through a lot of research and expertly crafted photos, the Worths are able to discover what each city loves most about itself.
From Austin’s infamous “I love you so much” Jo’s Coffee graffiti to Dallas’ numerous icons like the Granada Theater, the Bishop Arts District, the gorgeous Belmont Hotel and Fort Worth’s Rahr and Sons Brewery, we have a coaster or cutting board to start or complete your collection. Although they consider Austin their home base, Jennifer and Joseph Worth’s passion for all things Texas is available in many galleries around the state as well as Dallas’ own SampleHouse. We can’t wait to help you pick out your favorite piece!
