The Fourth of July is one of our very favorite holidays here at SampleHouse. We love celebrating our nation, gathering with friends and family and putting a whole lot of creative energy into decorating our porches and patios to reflect our pride for the ol’ U.S. of A.
And the best thing about decorating for the Fourth of July is that you don’t necessarily have to take everything down the next day. The Americana spirit of the holiday lasts all summer long, so hang up your red, white and blue and stop by for a few of our favorite Fourth of July decorations.
Banners, Dish Towels, Napkins, and More!
We’ve stocked a huge variety of party-hosting supplies sure to make your Fourth bash the talk of the town. We’re loving the red, white, and blue bunting, the themed paper products like napkins and plates, the throwback dish towels and all the different sizes of patriotic pillows. If you have outdoor furniture, adding a few American flag pillows is great way to set the mood for your celebration.
If you’re looking to add some rustic flair to your patio or balcony, these charming tin flags are the perfect way to go. They’re sturdy and weather-resistant, giving them an edge over traditional cloth flags, and they definitely won’t fray. They don’t even need a gust of wind! We love lining long walkways with these, and they’re right at home in any American garden all year long.
Wooden Texas Flag
If there’s anything more fun to celebrate than American pride, it’s Texas pride! This adorable wooden flag can hang inside or out, and will complement any décor. We especially love the idea of hanging this flag in an outdoor kitchen. The faded colors and thin wire are perfect for the patriotic minimalist in the family.
Of course, no celebration would be complete without a few ideas from Pinterest. We love these hand-painted mason jars for holding plasticware, which is cute and helps reduce post-party cleanup. All it takes is a few jars, some acrylic craft paint and about an hour. If you want to keep them around, invest in some shellac spray to set the paint and keep your jars bright and beautiful all year long. And because we’re still in swimsuit season, this all-fruit alternative to a big apple pie keeps to holiday alive and the calories at bay.
