It’s that time of year again! The season for crafts and cooking and tricks and treats is finally here. Something about the cool air and grey skies rolling in sure do get our crafty fingers twitching. Here are our five favorite Halloween DIY projects:
Candy Corn Bottles
If you’re a regular person with a family, a job and bills (or some combination of those things), you probably have a few wine bottles laying around. Put them to good use with a couple of cans of spray paint and some sealant for a quick and easy fall decoration. Your front porch will go from concrete to cute in just a few minutes.
Milk Jug Ghosts Halloween
This might be our very favorite idea this year. These glowing little ghosts are just too cute for words, and making them really couldn’t be easier. A few minutes with some cleaned and dried milk jugs, a permanent marker and some Christmas lights can turn a walkway or backyard into an expertly decorated Halloween haven in no time.
What an awesome project for kids! Strips of scrap paper, a little glue and some cardboard rolls are all you need to make these adorable craft pumpkins happen. Fancy it up with glitter paper, curly ribbon and some wild colors! Any color, size,or shape will do—just make sure to have fun!
Fluffy Tulle Pumpkins Halloween
How cute is this? This sweet spin on a classic fall decoration couldn’t be easier. Use a faux pumpkin from the craft store so it will last. Wrap in any color tulle fabric and tie with some festive fall ribbon for a fun and fast take on a classic. The possibilities here really are endless!
Black Cat Lanterns
Make black cat o’lanterns
Now this may have a few more steps than other Halloween projects, but the result is too creepy-cool to ignore! A few spray-painted pumpkins, some dollar store tea lights and saucers and a tiny bit of structural engineering will give you a herd of Halloween cats that will surely win you “creepiest yard of the month.” Meow!
