Half the fun of buying jewelry is admiring your glittering, growing collection. But it can be difficult to find clever, attractive ways to display your jewelry in a way that’s easy to use and won’t result in the dreaded tangled knot of necklaces. Here are some fun, creative ways to display and store your prized possessions, with a little help from SampleHouse.
1. Chandelier Display
Elegant and round, this chandelier-like display is perfect for necklaces and even bracelets of all lengths and is easy to hang in just a few steps. This type of fixture is also a great way to display delicate, expensive and highly sentimental pieces of jewelry that should stay out of the reach of tiny hands. Protect your investment and put it up high!
2. Rake Display

This “upcycle” project is all the rage on Pinterest and we just love its rustic feel! Rake heads are easy to find at feed stores, antique stores, vintage shops and garage sales. Affix the rake head to a wall with nail and a pretty ribbon and you have yourself a quick, no-fuss necklace storage center.
3. Tension Rod and Shower Ring Display

This method uses a tension rod outfitted with shower rings or decorative hooks to use up all that dead space in a cabinet or linen closet. Even if you don’t have any extra shower rings hanging around or don’t feel like making a trip to the store, the tension rod will hold necklaces and bracelets using their own clasps. Don’t have an empty cabinet? Don’t worry! Use a bookshelf or even an old TV cabinet to create your very own jewelry center. Freshen it up with some paint and shelf paper to take your jewelry center to the next level.
4. Small Storage
Never rip your suitcase apart again looking for that one earring. SampleHouse can help you travel in style with these fully zippered, totally secure jewelry cases for rings, earrings, and anything else that you need to keep in one place (and in one piece). These cute cases come in different colors and are perfect for tucking into a carry-on bag or even just your purse. Whew!
5. Cake Stand Display

This cake stand display is perhaps our favorite idea this year, and comes from Better Homes and Gardens via (you guessed it) Pinterest. Using a cake stand (usually spray painted for decor-matching purposes) is a great way to fill up an empty corner on a bathroom counter, and makes for an easy drop-it-and-forget-it spot for chunky bracelets and rings, as well as smaller pieces that may not be able to hang on a hook or traditional display. Can’t find a cake stand? Head to the dollar or thrift store and pick up some candlesticks, decorate some plates and make your own with spray paint and powerful adhesive. Voilá!
