This tasty Crockpot Chicken Taco recipe from the SampleHouse Cookbook is the perfect meal when you don’t have much time to cook! Just put it all into the crockpot, wait a few hours and voilà!
- 6 chicken breasts
- 1 (16-oz.) jar salsa, preferably red
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 T. cumin
- Salt & pepper to taste
Place chicken in crockpot, pour salsa over the chicken, top with chopped onion, cumin, salt and pepper. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove chicken and shred. Purée remaining salsa and onion in blender. Serve chicken with sauce and favorite taco toppings in corn or flour.
